The patent-pending SkyBox™ line consists of molded modified acrylic fixtures that cover standard recessed fluorescent lighting commonly found in most drop-ceiling systems. The Promotional fixture, weighing less than twenty-five pounds, is available as a clear lens with a translucent interior graphic “pinch” for mounting changeable graphics. The Directional unit, weighing approximately twelve pounds, is a translucent lens suitable for applying vinyl lettering and logos or repositionable Duratrans. Both the “promotional” and “directional” fixtures are available in 2’ x 4’ and 2’ x 2’ models and may be purchased with either 15” or 7.5” depths (for ceiling structures above and below 9’). All units are easily attached to any drop-ceiling grid using the universal patent-pending Wickwire Bracket™ System developed by Island Display. The Wickwire Bracket™ is hinged on one side for easy graphic and bulb replacement. The SkyBox’s simplicity of installation and removal provides the ability to change the location of a “promotional” fixture for a new point-of-purchase campaign, or to reposition a “directional” fixture when the need arises.
