on your needs, the patent-pending
SkyBox™ can accommodate permanent
or temporary graphics. Temporary promotional
graphics are inserted between the
clear lens and the translucent white
“pinch” that mounts
inside the SkyBox™ to press
the graphic into place. Promotional
graphics can be replaced as frequently
as your ad campaign changes. “Directional”
or “informational” graphics
are affixed to the exterior of the
SkyBox™ using either adhesive
vinyl or repositionable Duratrans.

types that can be used with the SkyBox™.
LightJet
Duratrans
Duratrans backlit display material
has been an industry standard for
years and produces consistently excellent
results. Used extensively in upscale
retail point-of-purchase displays,
Duratrans now offers improved color
and display life as well as a built-in
white diffusion layer. This premium
quality material is most often used
in situations where there is closer
viewing proximity or greater detail
required. Your SkyBox™ advertising
or directional signage is imaged directly
from digital files using advanced
laser beam technology. No film or
intermediate step is required and
the lasers insure exact color matching
and precision results. In addition
to Duratrans being the finest backlit
display material available anywhere,
the art is produced quickly, and the
price drops as the quantity increases.
Inkjet
Duratrans
State-of-the-art inkjet printers are
a good way to print small quantities
and still get superior results at
an affordable price. Translucent inkjet
prints offer sharp text, vibrant colors
and continuous tone appearance up
to 600 dpi. Using a film with ink-receptive
coating suitable for both dye-based
and pigmented inks, even yellows,
notoriously subject to dulling, maintain
their full values. Inkjet durable
transparencies are good for short
runs and proofs, as production is
slow and the cost remains constant
throughout the print run. Although
the quality is excellent, the best
application for inkjet Duratrans is
higher ceilings or where less detail
is required.
For
Directional and Informational SkyBox™
Applications:
Vinyl Application
“Directional” signage
can be produced with vinyl lettering
and logos cut from a flexible vinyl
film and affixed to the exterior of
the “prism” with adhesive.
PMS color matching is included. For
applications where there is no need
to change out artwork, this method
offers a cost-effective solution.
In large volume, repositionable adhesive
Duratrans becomes cost effective for
certain applications.
