these FAQs and the Reseller
Program Information, please fill
out the online Reseller
Application Form or download a
pdf version of the form to fax back
to us. After your application is received,
you will be contacted by one of our
Manufacturer Representatives.
What's
included in the Reseller Kit?
In addition to the Reseller Agreement,
the Reseller Kit contains everything
necessary to help you present our product
line to prospective customers:
- Welcome letter
- Product features and benefits
- Spec sheets with pricing and order
information
- List of IDI corporate contacts
- Answers to customers' frequently
asked questions
- Descriptive brochure on the company
- Sample photos of finished SkyBoxes
- Product sales sheets (50) to distribute to customers
- CD of the ad slick for you to customize and reproduce
This Kit will be available at no
cost to qualified Resellers; additional
supplies will be available for purchase
thereafter.
How do I
maintain my status as a Reseller?
When you sign on as a Reseller,
you will be required to purchase
at wholesale cost, one each of the
SkyBox™ models with generic
graphics to display in your store/showroom,
or to use in sales presentations.
You
will be expected to sell a minimum
of 30 units in the first 12 month
period to maintain your preferred
status as a
Reseller.
Can I
set my own prices for the SkyBox™ product
line?
We recommend Resellers market
our product line at the MSRP. However,
if you are providing the graphics
for the SkyBox™, you will adjust
the price to the end user to include
the cost of your materials and the
additional profit you expect to make
from value added to the SkyBox™.
Am I eligible
to purchase at the wholesale price
immediately?
Absolutely. You are eligible to
take the Reseller discount with the
very first order you place with your
Manufacturer Rep.
What payment terms are offered?
Since we are creating new relationships with a new product, Island Display's
initial terms will be COD. Payments are received in one of two ways:
- Credit card on file, charged upon delivery
- 50% down, 50% upon delivery
Terms will be extended as credit
history is established.
What
are the best selling items?
The majority of recessed fluorescent
light fixtures used in drop ceilings
are 2' x 4'. In addition, the SkyBox™ used
for this fixture affords the largest
amount of advertising space and the
greatest visibility. As a result,
the 2' x 4' "Promotional" and "Directional" models
will be most attractive to your customer
base. Even so, you should promote
the 2' x 2' SkyBoxes for special
applications
and for more restricted areas. You
will need to have samples of the
entire line (as they become available)
for your customer to fully appreciate
the
attributes
of
each.
What is
drop-shipping and what does it cost?
Drop-shipping is a method of transporting
goods from a supplier to a third
party under a second party's label
(address)
so that it appears as though the
product came from the second party
and not
the supplier. This enables the second
party to conduct business without
having to carry any inventory. Island
Display
offers this service to its Resellers.
The cost for drop-shipping is usually
the same as it would be to send a
unit to you; also, it will depend
on the
unit being shipped, quantity, weight,
etc. This is a cost that you pass
on to the end user.

can I get started?
Upon receipt and verification of
your Reseller
Application or faxed pdf version,
a Manufacturer Representative will
contact you to:
- Provide a brief orientation to the Reseller Kit
- Receive payment for your display
SkyBox™ units
- Make shipping arrangements.
